Culture around an organization

There is old saying that “Culture eats Strategy” –as a strategy person I have always believed that is true–however I don’t want to let cultural forces dictate my strategy decisions. Where this issue often becomes very serious is in the case of M&A (merger and acquisitions) decisions particularly if you are making an acquisition in a foreign country where you may have both organizational and national culture clash.
